In 2003, Nicholas graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Boston University Law Review.  Prior to that, he graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. 

Nicholas passed the California Bar Exam in 2003 and has been admitted to practice in California since that time.  Nicholas started his career in Jones Day’s Los Angeles office, where he practiced complex business, healthcare, and employment litigation. 

From April 2005 to May 2007, Nicholas was an associate at Quinn Emanual Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP’s Los Angeles office, where he also practiced complex business litigation.  From July 2007 to May 2016, Nicholas practiced at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis, LLP’s Orange County office, focusing on real estate litigation matters. 

Since 2016, Nicholas has been a practitioner at Shantar Law, where he continues to focus on business and real estate litigation matters in Southern California.
